Hey y'all! So today we're going to be wrapping up our series on relationships..

Liz and I have talked about the benefits, struggles and realities of being both single or in a relationship. Regardless of what stage you are in, one of the most important things is to use your singleness or relationship time to invest in yourself to be the best current or future mate you can be.

Part of that is to invest intentionally in your relationship with God. You need to make your relationship with Him a constant priority regardless of your relationship status. Invest time with Him and especially time spent reading your Bible.

Surround yourself with people who constantly push you towards God and encourage you to be the best version of yourself. The people you spend time with, influence you most. Make sure you pick wise friends, and especially a wise boyfriend or girlfriend. Pick a future spouse and also friends who will encourage and push you towards Him most importantly.

Use every season to invest in yourself and become the best version of yourself you can. Spend time doing things that make you well-rounded version. Take classes. Try new things. Challenge yourself. Grow closer to God. Pray. Enjoy the sunshine. Dream. Set Goals. Love people near you. Smile. Be happy.

Most importantly, make sure that you're spending time becoming the right one, rather than than constantly searching for the right one.

Deuteronomy 4:29 says "But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul."

And Proverbs 8:17 says, "I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me."

God wants us to seek him. Don't get too caught up in seeking the perfect guy or gal, that you miss seeking Him. Spend time with God. Invest in your relationship with God, so that way when it's time to start investing in a romantic relationship, you have built a foundational relationship with God and you can grow in both relationships simultaneously. A great relationship should take you towards God and the other person rather than away from one and towards another.

Just be encouraged that no matter what season you are in, whether you are in a relationship, single, looking for a relationship, or not, you can be preparing. You can always do things to help you become the best you possible.

So we wrap up our series by saying that no matter what season or what type of relationship you are in, make sure you are putting Him first. Make sure that you are investing in yourself and make sure you are striving to become the best version of yourself you can be.

We love you! Keep being Fearless.
